PLEASE help. Completely stuck and no idea what to do next. Linear Relearn keeps failing!

I feel like I've tried everything I've seen on here and on YouTube.

I replaced my actuator. Bleed process was fine and passed. I should have left well enough alone but I cleared the memory to do the relearn like I was told to do. Now, I can't get it to pass. It was failing with 25 seconds left and now it's worse and failing right when it starts.

I have no idea what to do and I need my car Monday for work. Is there anything I can do at this point?

So because the battery is too low, it's failing at the end of the learning process?

After I posted this, I drove the car around for a little while then came back and tried again and it was the same results. I'll attempt jumping the battery to another car and see what happens then run the process again.

If it still fails, I would assume the actuator I installed is bad? Or should I attempt to bleed the system more and try again? (I don't know what causes this process to fail so I don't even know what to test for).

 

I'm just waking up, I had a really long day yesterday working on this. I'll go outside now and hook it to my wife's car and try running the test again. I'll report back with what happens and with the freeze frame data.

 

Have it hooked to another car. It made it further this time, 30 seconds remaining, but still failed. It beeped when it first started the test and I got low accumulator pressure warning, which I haven't gotten with this actuator before.

It was a used actuator. I think I'm better off buying a used one that was tested and has a warranty and try installing that one. I pulled this one myself from the junk yard, I was trying to save money. I bought this car from a dealer 30 days ago and I've had several issues with it already, I'm just beyond frustrated.

My last question is, is it safe to drive with the learn process not in place? I drove it around last night to test and it seemed fine. I need it for work so if it's "safe" I'll use it for now while the other actuator is on order.

 

I just saw in your instructions you linked that the car is suppose to be in test mode when performing the learn process? Or did I read that incorrectly?

EDIT- never mind, doesn't matter because I just attempted it that way. I'll just order another actuator.

 

I just ordered an actuator on eBay for $300. Tested and guaranteed working with a 180-day warranty. Should have it installed in the next two weekends.

Hoping for the best.

Should I do the zero down procedure before removing this actuator? I didn't see that option before doing this one.

Also, I'll update you guys if this other one works.

 

@valde3 just wanted to thank you again. The other actuator came in Friday and I replaced it today successfully. I jumped the battery to my wife's car just to be safe but the bleeding and relearning process both went through without a hitch and my car is back on the road.
