Probably jumping to conclusions here. Two separate charging systems are involved, and it isn't that weird for the traction battery bar graph to move around (the range of SoC the bar graph covers is really only from about 40% to 80% actual SoC).

For information, how hot is hot? Do you have any way to measure, report that?

Do you have access to a current clamp meter to measure / report the current in or out of the battery?

Ok so it was a wire in the charging system that needed repalcin. The 12v isn’t hot anymore it tests at 12.9 volts which is good.

Ok it didn’t go so well guys. :(
I’m having the 12v issue again where it gets hot and overheats and won’t charge so the wire wasn’t the problem and now my hybrid battery is dead and codes P0A7F P0A80 P3011 P3012 P3024 P0C75 P0C77 C1259 C1241 I cant figure this out I just started my car now to go somewhere and I can’t even take it 09 Prius I just replaced 12v and a wire in the charging system for the 12v I think the it’s my charging system Affecting the hybrid battery and 12v unless I put a bad wire in the charging system I can’t fiurge it out

Is this the same vehicle you took to the dealer for repair last month, and would it still be under warranty?

Some of those codes don't relate to a gen2 Prius, could you please tell us more about the code reader being used to pull the DTCs.

Or is this the same one where you had the somehow refurbished 12v battery and used water to clean the throttle body? I think
Priuslover09 had also misfires on cylinders 5...12 so probably a faulty scanner so codes mean nothing.

Assuming the OBD2 scanner that you're using is somewhat correct in the DTCs it was able to retrieve, it would appear that you have a failing/failed HV battery at a minimum, and some additional issues which will need to be identified and or repaired :(

If it won't go into gear, then it would be safe to assume that it isn't drivable (y)

But still with the same scan tool your scan results are just as unreliable.

I think it won’t go into gear because of the hybrid battery

Last time we came to a conclusion that your scan tool was bad and it just shows random codes. If you just use the same scan tool it probably shows random codes again. Without a correct codes it's almost impossible to figure out where the problem is.

Highly unlikely Toyota would fix it for 99.99, but stranger things have happened.
