Navigation Assistance - not available, correct?

    Coming from a CT200h, I've become used to the Enform Navigation Assistance subscription service. Press Navigation Assistance, and get connected by satellite to someone ready to look up your destination and plug it into your navigation system.

    Would like to confirm that the Prius Prime Limited doesn't offer this? Don't trust my sales person to know, dealer sells about 12 Primes per year. Had to "rent" out their loaner car just to try one out, wasn't charged, and so was not very informative about the electric driving experience. More wind noise at highway speed than the CT which is pretty quiet.

    The CT is a great little "luxury Prius," but can either purchase that (end of lease) or consider a Prime that has a tax incentive.

    I'd miss the nav assistance and the quiet ride in the CT. Being able to jump in the car, start driving in the general direction while a real person looks up where I'm going and plugs it into navigation is addictive.

    But for the Prime, very much like that I could just recharge from available 120Vac outlets in my garage. Daily commute would be covered by the range, 10 miles one-way. Winter cold and summer heat might force the engine on, but pretty minimal gas use regardless. It would be able to do longer trips, no problem.

    Anyone with an idea of the chance of getting lower than sticker for a Prime Limited? I'm in Minnesota.

    The Prime does not offer Destination Assist. That feature only made its way into Toyota vehicles with Entune 3.0 (and only those with embedded navigation which is usually the top trim level).

    Thanks, was hoping the Limited Prime might just have that.

    Interesting though. The CT has some very nice features. But no pace-matching to the car ahead for cruise control, no stay-in-lane assist.

    Not to mention that the CT drove better than the Gen 3.

    I'm used to the drive of the CT. A bit firm, but could be a performance car (gasp) if it had any acceleration at all. Heh!

    So the Gen 3 doesn't have as nice of a drive as CT ... Another consideration.

    Dang it - why can't Lexus offer a PHEV? I must be too small of a demographic for them.

    Buy-out the 2017 CT (loaded) for $20k at 20k miles, or fly-away from that up to Burlington to get the $3500 discount and $4500 tax incentive on a loaded Prime Limited ...

    I'd never make back the $6000 final difference with electric vs. gasoline, but I sure want to burn less gasoline.

    The Gen 3? No as it has a torsion beam rear suspension. The Gen 3 ran from 2010-2015 model year. I thought you were considering the Prime? The Prime is based off the Gen 4 Prius (with a multilink rear suspension).

    Lexus will... Look for an NX PHEV based off the RAV4 Prime soon (probably spring of 2022... since the regular NX will be redesigned for the 2022 MY but I think will be released in the summer or fall of 2021).

    Well, it is about the electric drive. That's something you can't put a value on. It's really fun (even though the numbers don't suggest it). The Prime has a better weight distribution (56/44) than the CT. It also has a larger passenger compartment. I also think the front seats are well designed but that's me coming from a Gen 3, not a CT.

    Lastly, the quad LEDs on the Prime are really good. (that's LED low beam and high beams). They suffer slightly with a left curve (both sharp and gradual due to the shape of the light beam) but otherwise, straight and right curves are well lit.
