Just got our latest copy of "Consumer Reports" magazine (April 2020), this issue focuses on cars, the Prius Prime is included in their top 10 and is a recommended buy.

Thanks, good to know ! (we just recently started a subscription to Consumer Reports)

I don't think ANY car is going to have a totally 100% rating and be without anything some owners might wish improved, but it does make me feel good to know the car we ordered is listed in their top ten !

The Lexus LS comes the closest to 100 usually;).

But for 6 figures in cost, it should(y).

    …...Very good point !

IF I had 6 figures to pay for a car I'd hope to be able to expect it to be about 99.9% at that price range

But if buying a six figure car, would you really care what a magazine thought about it:whistle:?

    I've never been in that position, but I don't think I'd care(y).

IF I had 6 figures to spend on a car I'd be able to afford to hire an automotive expert to evaluate the car first

If I had 6 figures for my auto needs, it would be a prius and a chauffeur

You'll be stretching it out ?

I bet you wouldn't get 25 miles on a charge that way;).

But it'd be a sight to see (y).

Actually, the Lexus LS came in pretty low, at 52 while the less expensive Lexus ES came in at 87 which is fairly high. The Prius and Prius Prime had the same number, 79, but the Prime scored lower for owner satisfaction. In other words, regular Prius owners like their cars better than Prius Prime owners. One of the highest rated cars was the Toyota Avalon, at 93.

I just went out and got the mail and see that:oops:.

They also downgraded reliability significantly for a Lexus LS:eek:.

So much for the flagship being the standard(y).

Just checked my Consumer Reports, I saw 10 different Lexus models listed in their alphabetical listings of ratings but didn't see any "LC" model listed.

By the way from what I see, it's the Prius HV on their top-ten list, not the Prius Prime PHEV.
