I have a 2008 prius touring with 223000 miles and the buttons for the defroster on the steering wheel only work when the wheel is turned to the right. All the other buttons on wheel work fine. Could this be a clock spring and if so can anyone recommend a good aftermarket clock spring that is reliable. Thank you.

I'm afraid we can't recommend aftermarket clock spring because they just don't seem to last. Look for an online dealer and buy an OEM one. They are about $125 - $150.

Or, if you're as cheap as I am and have a source, I got one from a friend whose business pulls parts from wrecks. It was about $50, iirc.
