Now, Harold's Market, also near the Anacortes refinery dropped gas to $2.17. Costco in Burlington, WA, usually a price leader, is holding at $2.45, tho a week(?) ago, it was trying to jack prices above $2.65(?).

When I had to fill up the Prime tonight (just over 1000 miles in this tank), here were the prices:eek::

That's our current local price, in CDN $'s. Was up around $1.40, a week or two back...., per liter.

    About $5/ gallon:eek:.

    Keep the garage queen churning;).

Or get a Prime and never use gas again at your low usage rates:).

    Go electric(y).

Yeah, I figured that out BEFORE reading your "per liter". :ROFLMAO:

P.S. You can get gas for 89 cents per liter..... 650 highway miles from Vancouver in Fort St. John.... more :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:.

I just saw that $1.24 this morning for E10. I bet E0 or 100% has not budged much and is still close to $2.21:rolleyes: It's much slower to move than E10.

Dang, that hurts, but your gas prices usually do.

I find it hard to believe out here that it'll ever get below 2.50:cautious:.

But at least the weathers nice and when there isn't COVID-19 concerns, things to do(y).

Sitting at breakfast this morning. Looked at my wife, inspiration struck. $1.24 and dropping gas price, not much going on, tired of the news and virus, need to support favorite restaurant during Spring Break in not so nearby city, great day for photos . . . . . ROAD TRIP!!!!

Back when we get back, if we get back. ;)

Often over the years, when excuses are used to drop or raise E10 prices, the price for E0 belatedly also rises or drops. However, the "ethanol in gasoline industries" make sure the price for E0 varies upward from E10. The "ethanol in gasoline industries" think they sneakily raise E0 prices, but we, who use E0, know the slimy tactics of "ethanol in gasoline industries".

$1.24 is pretty darn cheap if you subtract off state taxes.
WA is not RFG so a bit cheaper.

I've seen cheaper; the newest WaWa is 5 cents less, and that may have been 10 cents when it opened a couple months ago, but it isn't the most convenient one on my route. prices did drop some before, but haven't really budged here since the price war started. Maybe we won't see an increase with summer blend.

Our taxes, federal and state are under 80 cents a gallon.

my replacement was cheap, unplugged it and kept on trucking without battery.

if I try I get OK Gas MPGs (25mph, flat ground, city)

    $200 / $2.159 x 72mpg = 6669 miles

    3986DDCC-D278-46DC-8B32-A5DD849375F3.jpeg

my Insight is my daily and doesn’t rack up trip miles like the Volt anymore.

    I also don’t average 82mpg anymore but...

regardless there should be no fixed BEV fees and those fees (if any) should reflect the economy of the vehicle.

..... where we're still north of $3 even. That said -
Someone posted a very nice chart on PC that made a nice illustration of kWh costs versus gasoline cost - so folks could understand which price made the best economic sense.
Of course - PV solar makes it so even if they are giving gas away, it's still cheaper to charge at home, because you're not wasting wear & tear having to get in the line at Costco.

Trollbait last I knew PA gaso taxes were as high as CA, so I am certainly not expecting $1 gaso in PA.
Maybe southern VA where our gaso tax in vicinity of 17 cents, but we are not cheapest place re supply logistics

Just down pennies around here, with RUG at $2.25. Still don't need any gas. :D
