    Hello,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place among the fora. I'm new here.

My budding mechanic, high school daughter replaced all four actuator motors on our 2013 PriusC because all nearly at once about a year ago stopped working.

All now work well with the fob and the internal lock, and manually except for the passenger rear door. The passenger rear door will not lock using the key fob, driver's armrest control, nor the manual locking switch by the door handle.

The manual switch by the door handle moves as if the door is locking and the door appears to be locked, but it remains open. When I put my ear up to the door, I can hear the actuator motor engaging.

There are only so many times we want to tear the doors apart, so we called our professional mechanic and he had no ideas other than "make an appointment."

    Thank you for any suggestions!

Thank you for trying to help us. What is the linkage that you suspect is not connected?

i have never seen one, but since the inside knob moves, and you can hear the actuator, there should be a connecting rod to the lock mechanism

if you google prius c door lock repair, there are some good videos. along with the connecting rod, there are two cables. perhaps one isn't seated properly, or maybe the actuator still isn't strong enough to move it all the way, even though the interior button is moving.
