    Gentlemen,

I am desperately in need of and searching for an older version of Entune software update applicable for 2016-2018 Entune Premium Audio Head Units.

This update was introduced in the original Toyota Technical Service Bulletin (T-SB-0103-16 attached) and was superseded later. Yes, I am aware that it is an old update and there are several newer updates, but I specifically need that older one.

That update was available at Toyota Downloads (which is available to public), but not anymore.

I would really appreciate if someone who still has this update .KWI file, will share it with me.
The .KWI update package is about 170MB and it should not take more than 10 minutes to upload the file to any available file share.

There is a possibility that this file exists (even if you already have a newer version) on your Toyota Maps microSD card in \PANA directory (depends on the version of your Toyota Maps microSD card).

The update (the file) that I am looking for is: 13TDANNA-DA11_0130.kwi

I have posted a similar message to many other Toyota forums, but didn't hear back yet from anyone. Hopefully this forum is the last stop and I will find what I am looking for to fix the annoying problem that I have.

Huge thanks to those who will decide to check his archives/microSD card and get back to me! I truly appreciate your time and I mean it.

Can you explain why you want the older version?
Have you tried a Professional Diagnostic subscription to techinfo.toyota.com? After you’ve paid and signed in, the file itself might still be available at this link, even if the bulletin isn’t:

Thank you for the response, Elektroingenieur!

I prefer to not elaborate on my reasons for wanting the older update. I can assure you that if you are currently running on the Audio software from the later update, then you should not be experiencing what I need to fix. Toyota did a good job on patching several bugs in later updates.
But for a reason specific to my only configuration, I need this older update file to be able to continue with a newer updates. Basically it is a self-inflicting pain (same as you, I am an EnginIeUr :) and often like tinkering with my hardware).

I am aware about Techinfo subscription, but currently I am without job and prefer to not pay additional money to Toyota over what I already paid for my car. I am positive that one of Toyota owners still has this old file. It is just a question of finding that right person. I am a believer... I know. ;-)

Thanks again for trying to help. Stay safe and healthy!

    Elektroingenieur,

I realized that you may take my comment about being an EnginIeUr as offensive. Please do not.
I actually like the sound of it very much. It reminds me the quality and the sound of an old good Bayerische Motoren Werke. The real engineering (ingenieurING) company!

That was my only intention - to show that I also belong to the Engineering craft and understand how things work to feel comfortable about tinkering... Unfortunately to learn something, you sometimes have to break it and fix after. And that is what happened to my HUD. But I will bring it back to life. It is just a question of time and persistency.

Thank you again for trying to help, Sir!
