Battery bank question

    Wondering if this is good for a 12vdc solar application, they are 45ah so in series I would get over 200ah's in series and that doesn't seem alot for me. Am I missing something? TIA. 85181631_236818917495387_8631351897938198528_o.jpg

    Probably OK - IF
    how do you plan to use the charge from this storage?
    lightly I would assume as the batteries are not deep cycle lead acid.

    Careful here. Combining batteries, you get to add voltage or add amp-hours, but not both. In series the volts add. You would have 60 volts there ... at 45 amp-hours.

    There's another place the same issue comes up, where in that case it seems the marketers are making the mistake deliberately.

    Yes. Right.
    You do NOT want to connect them in series.....for any "normal" use.
    For additional capacity, they would be connected in parallel......but that isn't a really good idea either.

    (How did we ALL miss this the first time around ?)
