Front and rear defrosters come on by themselves

    My 2007 Prius has 149000 miles on it. About a month ago both the front and rear defroster started coming on by themselves. It's not on automatic as far as I know, and it is becoming very annoying having to turn it off constantly. Is this a sign of my Hybrid battery beginning to go?

    I doubt it. It is more like an electrical gremlin. You will need to get out your multimeter and do some old fashioned detective work.

    Are all the steering wheel buttons behaving or have some of them (usually the right side ones) stopped working?
