I suspect that it only works with watches that have cellular capability. It's not pairing like it does to a phone (or like the phone pairing with the car) so much as communicating via cell data plan as it would over a network. I guess that's a kind of pairing I hadn't thought of since I don't have, need, or want a cellular watch.

It could work with non-cellular versions. I suspect it's just the Entune app but as a complication on the Watch.

Well shoot. It was giving me just enough hope to keep me trying with the process lol.

Hmmm. Maybe not worth it then anyway...

@Tideland Prius mentioned that there is an Entune complication for the watch. I didn't know that since I deleted Entune shortly after installing it because of extreme uselessness. I guess that would indirectly pair with the car via the phone.

Hmmm. I could't find it in the watch app store. It shows the regular Toyota app under Apple Watch, but nothing in the app itself shows connecting or enabling it. Any suggestions @Tideland Prius ?

It’s supposed to arrive with the 2021 Avalon. I’m not aware it’ll work on any other Toyota.

I only have three pages in the watch app..

The first is this (not sure what it's for):

The second page is just the remaining range and the third which doesn't appear to work is the Last Parked location of the car.

The "three pages" is exactly what I see on my Apple Watch 6 (watchOS 8.3) also. First screen has an image of your car, like the photo posted by Darien Day in the above post. Second screen has fuel level gauge with "XXX miles" also listed, below which is a "Status" area (mine currently says "No Status Issues" with a green check mark). Third screen has a map with a pin on it and address written below, as to the current location of the car, which is functional and accurate on mine. While the Apple Watch app once had a number of features it appears the latest versions of it have lost some, and now we wait for them to return as the new set of software rolls out. Similarly the Toyota app itself when viewed my iPhone SE2020 (now iOS 15.2), I believe(?) used to have the ability to lock or unlock doors but the current version no longer has that. It seems possible that currently Toyota's tech group is perhaps struggling and juggling the replacement the car's older Entune infotainment system, use of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and access for smartphones e.g. Android & Apple. It seems, for Apple iOS they are taking older separate apps, and merging them into one unified single Toyota app with its extension to the Apple Watch. Lots going on I predict.

I tried mine again and only get the first third of my Prime. No other pages are visible. So still basically worthless at this point.
