The screen was split with the left half doing Energy I guess and the right half doing Nav The screen I saw was on the left and was a circle with Engine in the top right and wheels in the top left and battery at the bottom. Arrows flowed between these icons as the power distribution changed. I've not seen this one before and while it's probably giving me the same info as the one that shows the chassis of the car, to me it seemed way more intuitive .. and useful 2017 v Five with ATP if that makes a difference
Yeah that's the compact version of the Energy Monitor (first showed up on the 2007 Camry Hybrid when it had the small monochromatic LCD screen between the gauges for models without navigation). Your trim level does make a difference as only the Prius v trims with the integrated Toyota navigation have the split-screen functionality. The lower trims use a DisplayAudio system with a Garmin-like interface that is separate from the Toyota/Denso version.
I use that screen sometimes too, especially when I want to make sure the ICE / Internal Combustion Engine / gasoline engine is running. It may be a bit different looking in the Prius Prime, but it was easy to know what you were talking about from your description. Welcome Monica, yep, I agree.
