The OP is in Jordan. US Trim levels likely do not apply there.

That's in USA - the rest of the world could be different - Australia still is only NiMH.

They apply to Prius cars exported from the U.S. as used cars; that may be the reason for @Fadi1's interest.
Collision repairs are not well regulated, so it’s difficult to give specific advice about vehicles that have been damaged and repaired. If the repairs were done properly, according to Toyota’s Collision Repair Manual (more info) or using other high-quality materials and methods, the car might give many years of trouble-free motoring. If the repairs were done poorly, the car might be unsafe, unreliable, or vulnerable to corrosion. Even with close inspection, it can be hard to tell; the lower prices reflect this uncertainty.

Yes they applied it from USA and sell here in Jordan, I checked one website this car is two eco
I'm not sure how to check whether it had been repaired before shipping, or once it arrive here, and the price for it is not low it is around 16K JOD around 23K USD,

Do you know how I can get this information, or it is impossible and I have to ask dealer, which I don't trust

If the car is from the U.S., and you have the VIN, you could buy a CARFAX report on it. This company obtains information from many sources about collisions, repairs, maintenance, and so on, and for a fee, they will share whatever information is in their database. The report may not be complete, however, especially if the car was repaired privately or in a shop that doesn’t share information with CARFAX.

True, but there are still only two battery options and they do depend on the trim. AFAIK, you can't order a trim four with a NiMH battery.

Anyway, yeah, I hadn't noticed that he was not in the US when I put that list up. Turns out that it was a US model anyway, if I'm reading things right. Even a blind hog finds an acorn sometimes. ;)

So hopefully, it's all sorted now and it only took two pages of posts. Not that we won't add to it anyway. What a fun bunch. LOL!

What do you suggest that we add to the discussion now?

Seriously - we only have 2 trims - one fairly well equipped, the other with nearly everything on (except AutoParking which isn't available here) - but both have a NiMH battery.

Salvage means the insurance company said it was not worth the cost of repair. No more Toyota recalls will be done on it either.

Most Toyota warranties don’t cover salvage or total-loss vehicles, but dealers in the U.S. are still expected to do recall and campaign repairs, if they can. In the Toyota Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual (available by subscription to techinfo.toyota.com), Policy 4.17 states, in part:

“There is no New Vehicle Limited Warranty coverage or non-Emission CSP [Customer Support Program] coverage for vehicles that have been branded as salvage, total loss, true mileage unknown or similar title under any state’s law. Nonetheless, every attempt should be made to complete an open SSC [Special Service Campaign], LSC [Limited Service Campaign] or SR [Safety Recall] when circumstances permit, except as otherwise noted in the SSC/LSC, or where it may not be possible. For example, if damage sustained by the vehicle makes performance of the SSC/LSC/SR impractical, advise the owner that the SSC/LSC/SR remedy will be made available once the owner brings the vehicle into a condition at their expense that allows the remedy to be performed properly.

“All emission control warranties, including Emission Control Warranty Enhancements (CSPs), will still be honored.”

We have two Gen 4's (2017 and 2021) and 2017 has Nickel while 2021 has Lithium. Both types have their advantages and disadvantages. I think the Car Care Nut has a video dedicated to explain both. For us, doesn't seem to make that much of a difference...2021 has always gotten a little better MPGs but could be because the engine uses 0W-16 instead of 0W-20.
