No news story for the station? The Fountain Valley station rated one, and it had just 4 pumps.

You said 6, then 5. News paper said 4. Fact checking is certainly fair, it is what we all try to do.

You mentioned Fountain Valley with 4 pumps in another thread, and then Acro with 6 here. With no reports on Fountain Valley mentioning Acro, it sounds like separate stations. Are they?

The 'pumps' of a hydrogen station aren't actually pumps. I don't they are actually pumps at gas stations these days. Fountain Valley has 4 refueling spots. One of those spots has a second, low pressure nozzle, for any older hydrogen cars that might come by.

The California Fuel Cell Partnership blog says it can only fuel three cars simultaneously. It is 100% renewable hydrogen, which implies it is onsite production, as delivered hydrogen could be anything. So the 1200kg could be max production, not tank size.

Well the station that I was referring to looks like it has 6 pump, but it may have 5. I have yet to refill my tank. Got the car last Saturday and still have over a 1/2 tank. So when I do go I will confirm the number of pumps.

The station that I am referring to has 5 or 6 pumps and just opened up a month or so ago. It’s located within an Arco Gas station. When I refill I will advise the number of pumps. It maybe the same station you posted from the article.

True but if we encourage the fuel cell advocates, they won't dig in their heels to support their decision. It isn't mine and unlikely yours. Rather the best way to let someone come to their senses is to encourage them to perform the experiment. In 2-3 years, their insights may change. If not, nothing is lost as the rest of us follow different paths.

Amen Brother! As we all know one size shoe does not fit all. I have friends that own Tesla’s and have no harsh words to say about my decision to go with a Mirai. I believe there is much disservice to not support new technology which supports creating a healthier environment for future generations. If you truly believe plug in is a better choice that’s your right. I believe in Hydrogen.
