Trying too figure out what this 3 hole
Gasket is used for? It mates with the valve cover and goes too the sensor (camshaft oil control sensor) at top of valve cover. When trying too find it online I’m linked too. “camshaft bearing cap oil hole”

I know the bottom right circle, is used too unlock the cam from the gear, via air pressure gun.

And I found out while spinning engine by hand, the top hole pushes oil out.

can anyone tell me what the bottom left does? I may have gotten a little oil in it..... and just want too be sure it’s chill.

See how the exhaust chain sprocket is just a simple sprocket, but the intake one is a big hulking cylindrical thing? That's the intake valve timing adjuster. It is actuated (in both directions) by oil pressure. The three holes are a supply of pressurized oil and connections to both sides of the adjuster vanes. The solenoid that controls the adjustment is mounted to the valve cover and mates up with those three holes.

Getting oil in there is no problem. Oil's what goes in there,

All 3 holes can have oil. Perfect thank you. Just wanted to be sure I didn’t get a bit of oil into one that wasn’t supposed too.
