While driving tonight very slowly looking for a piece of jewelry I lost on the street about 63 degrees in Florida I got this code . 2 weeks ago the brake booster abs assembly got replaced and now this ? Is it cause for concern ? Does this code usually mean I need a new battery? Car has 137,000 miles

That is for the cooling fan for the hybrid battery.
Check the vents. I "think" it's under the back seat on the floor. It cold be clocked.
If you have dogs, fur may have built up and clocked it.
Also, the fan maybe be clocked also, or failing.

No dogs but kids for sure lol I am always vacuuming a lot of stuff. I cleared the code , I will clean the fan . Perhaps because I was cruising so slow using the battery mostly this occurred?

Who knows what can block that vent? :)
It's fairly easy to clean the fan.
If you do and internet search for that code, there are a few recalls you can check out.
Might be something Toyota will fix under a recall. Worth checking out.

This is a decent video on battery fan removal and cleaning. What it misses is cleaning the intake duct screen which is under the rear passenger seat.

Slow speed operation will discharge the battery quickly causing a partial recharge. That partial recharge will discharge quickly, especially on an older battery. Which repeats over and over. Net result warmed up hv battery needing full flow from the fan which it can not get if somewhat clogged up.

Some say poor fan maintentance is responsible for 50% of hv battery failures.

Thanks for posting that video. Fairly easy to do.
Isn't there a filter in the front, along the panel under the front of the seat bottom?
    Or is the the Gen2?

It is a screen under the rear passenger's seat, a little hard to access or even see. So some may do a quality job cleaning the fan and miss the screen.

    Wow, that is/was nasty!
I guess being on the floor it will collect all the fallen dust and dirt.

I put this behind my filter. I don't have the "V", mine is on the seat pillar.
