Hybrid Battery Repair - Prius 2011

    1. Can this battery be repaired?
    2. How many cells need to be replaced and that are they?
    3. Is it worth repairing?

    are there warning lights?
    DTC codes?

    Battery is a reconditioned one.. have no idea what the milage is..

    Torque app.. with a Bluetooth OBD2 reader

    Not charged..
    DTC code is P0A80
    with ABS, Check engine, and other warning lights

    P0A80 means one or more of the cells have failed.

    torque shows module pairs - 3 cells per module

    from the torque apps readings it looks like you'll need at least 7 modules. You wouldn't know which ones they are until you measure each module.
    Most likely are one (or both) module(s) of each pair of modules with readings of 15 volts and one (maybe both) module(s) of the pair reading 16.0 and 16;1 ......

    If you can get your hands on a grid charger you might be able to balance the the pack while you wait for new modules.
    It's a good idea to have a grid charger / discharger anyway if you plan to replace modules.

    oh yeah check your 12 volt batter too. It's a good first step to take concerning the other dash lights
