Immobilizer no start red triangle

    05 Prius won't start red triangle light on code came up first time immobilizer B2775 try to clear still would not start right triangle stays on. When trying to start only hear one click from HV battery. Now Can't get it to read any codes. But still doing the same thing.

    Thanks for your response I did find some other codes hidden in hybrid controls. Cleared them and everything is running great. No warning lights. I will post the code numbers if anybody knows why they showed up if they come back sure would be great to know.

    Yup. The P0AA6 code says it all. HV isolation fault. Plenty of reading available about it in the forum. This fault will not allow the car to go to the ready state. The fault can be cleared, and the car started. If the fault comes back while driving, it will allow the car to continue to operate, but once turned off, back to square one.

    The P0A0D-350 means the safety interlock at the HV Battery or the interlock under the inverter cover was activated while the car was stopped.

    Are you using techstream or another code reader. If techstream, look in the HV system tab and find ShortWave highest value. It shows the quality of the HV system isolation from the car body. It displays as a voltage between 0-5 v. 5v is perfect, the lower it is, the 'badder' it is, lol.
