Need mod help. Locked out of real account due to 2FA

    My regular account is UltraJetRefill. I've tried to contact the mods through the 'contact us' link, and also direct email to Danny. My 2FA app is producing an incorrect number, most likely due to a new phone install. I just need the 2FA turned off so I can log in. Not sure what else to do at this point.

    What does 2FA mean? A 2FA app? What is that? I googled it and I'm guessing you're talking about two-factor authentication? Is this related to Bluetooth or Wifi or some other Near Field Communication (NFC) set up with your Prius? Details are always helpful....

    What he really is saying is that he got locked out because of bad "bookkeeping" at his end.
    He doesn't remember the second "password" so now is screwed.
    Likely will need to continue with this new "account" and should consider himself lucky that he got that to work.

    True. I didn't save the backup code. I've usually had good luck backing up my two factor authentication app, but for some reason it was messed up after installing on a new phone.

    Sorry, my description was a little lacking. Yep, two factor authentication. I use Duo Mobile, and the app kept presenting a code that PriusChat rejected. I think it was due to a recent switch to a new phone. As Sam Spade 2 mentioned, I didn't keep my backup code safe.

    So you're using the tap-a-talk app? That's always been problematic and the problems with that app doesn't give the webmaster of PriusChat many ways to fix problems. Have you tried using the web browser in your phone instead?

    I've been using Firefox to try and log in. I've used the app on Google Play, but no dice there either.
