The date codes and serial numbers on them is how to tell. The cell design is common to all Gen 1/2/3/ some 4 Prius, Camry, and even the Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Escalade hybrid models.

Modules changed between Gen 1 and Gen 2. Gen 2 are a smidge longer. Gen 1 batteries can be rebuilt with Gen 2 or later modules, if you're careful how you fit the cover back on. The sides of the modules were revised to change heat dissipation. The design of the terminals is a bit different, and I think the later modules only have the threaded insert for the hold-down screw at one end, not both as in Gen 1.

Sounds like it is under control. I know Toyota won't warranty a battery that was modified by a third party.

Just pickup it up 2 hours ago and it drove fine until about 15 minutes ago. I got this warning light.

This is the main reason I’d pay the extra for the dealership to install; hopefully it’s something battery related, not ECU or other, extraneous to the install. Plus Toyota gives more warranty if they install. And no core charge? And you don’t dirty (or cut up) your hands, break your back.

Ok I hade the code c1259 C1310 dealer quickly changed regenerative breaking at zero charge and car runs good. I guess Battery was overcharged bc of bad regenerative braking

Those two codes from the brake ECU only mean that it was notified of some other code or codes in the power management control ECU. The dealer apparently hasn't told you what the code(s) over there was/were, and their 'explanation' is technobabble, but as long as they found whatever it really was and fixed it, all's well that ends well.

Toyota is taking care of you this time. I have heard of new batteries initially overcharging in old hybrids. My guess is an ecu is using some Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) logic and it has to relearn.

That brake ecu is as much as a new battery. Get a new inverter on Toyota and you will have won a trifecta.

Battery looks good my inverter is good only bc there was no codes for it. Battery brake ecu when I took it back was bad car is working so far. It was free only took half an hour to fix when I got there.
