I just bought a 2021 Prius Prime XLE (with the big screen). If I’m using the built in nav instead of Apple CarPlay, if I slightly miss any of the on-screen buttons or tap anywhere on the screen, it thinks I want information about this point above and to the left of my current location. And I can’t figure out how to make it return to the current location.

I’ve read the 310 page nav system manual, and I swear it’s not in there.

Is the icon a cross hair with circle around it? If so then just push the home button again and it should go back to normal.

Congrats on your purchase by the way!

Have you just tried the “Home” Button?

Dont feel too bad. It took me almost 6 weeks of ownership to figure out it's the home button.

Thanks, I had a 2008 but I totaled it in 2011, but it was right after the tsunami so you couldn't get Priuses anywhere. I've got 250 miles on the new one and I've used the gas engine once, just to make sure it was ok.

Like in Japan? That tsunami? Dang, that was terrifying!
