Codes - How Important to fix, if 2006 Prius drives fine?

    I just ran a scan (techstream) before I swap out the hybrid cells. My 2006 Prius has 240k miles and the donor cells are from a Gen 4, 2016 with less than 10k miles. I'm tired of playing whack-a-mole with bad cells, which i've been doing for about 6-7 years and they are all starting to go bad. And i'm noticing corrosion on the nuts and plates, so i'll take them off the 2016 when I pull the cells.

    That said, I researched these codes in here, but I just wanted to double check that I didn't misunderstand anything.
    P3000 - Hybrid Battery Related
    P0A80 - Hybrid Battery Related
    P3014 - Block 4
    P3015 - Block 5
    - Internal Resistance for R01-R14 shows 0.019, is that good?
    - Is it an issue that I put the hybrid temp sensors on the top of the cells, not below?
    C1249 - Brake Light Circuit - Adjust brake light switch
    C1310 - Probably hybrid battery related
    C1311 & C1313 - ABS Module - possible air in lines, clean up calipers - car has sat since March 2020
    C1378 - Possible blown fuse, issue with Brake Control Power Supply Module (BCPSM)
    B1271 - Combo meter, but also possibly related to the hybrid battery issue.

    Minus the hybrid battery pack, I haven't had really any other issues.... And it seems to drive fine with I use my basic OBD2 scanner with Torque Pro, to clear the codes. Do I really need to fix the other issues with the brakes? Everything seems fine

    19 mΩ is the default (reset) value and what a new or newish battery would be. If they are higher than that they will recalibrate in due course.
    It is becoming accepted that the top is a better place to situate the temp sensors. If you can accommodate doing that easily, why not?
    You should fix the HV battery first then clear all codes. See what you get after that. You might not have any other issues. Some codes set in the ABS/VSC/ECB ECUs because they have a working relationship with the HV battery and its ECU and the HV ECU. They chat among themselves and say things like, "Hey, did you hear the HV battery has some issues? I'll change what I do until I hear that those issues are fixed."

    I don't know what you expect to accomplish with this scan......or with a discussion of the results.
    Fix the battery and then do it again.

    You only need to fix the brake codes if you expect the brakes to work right. Seriously.

    Thank you! I absolutely plan on rescanning once the hybrid battery is complete. I was mainly wondering if there were any issues that I may have overlooked while reading the codes, and would get easier to fix during this process, than later.

    Good to know about the temp sensors, I was concerned that with them on top, even though there are a few layers above it, that it potentially would throw more codes in the summer, than if the temp sensors were on the bottom.

    I did receive a code a while back and it basically said it was due to corrosion. But I haven't seen it since. Looking at the hardware, it does need to get cleaned up more than how I was doing it...

    That is exactly what I was wondering, they seem to be working perfectly fine. So I wasn't sure if it was just a simple sensor or something, or if it could actually lead to the brakes not working...

    I will absolutely be rescanning the vehicle once I have the hybrid cells transferred over. And from what I read, most likely most of the codes are caused by an issue with the hybrid battery.... While I have the car apart, I wasn't sure if there was anything I should take advantage of replacing while i'm already at it? All of the codes that I searched for, are all associated with other codes, and not the exact results that I'm having, and many that do not show up in forum search results related to hybrid issues... Just asking if anyone saw something that maybe I missed or didn't understand.
