I got the head gasket replaced on my prius after had an issue with a fuel injector stuck open threw me for a loop
    but is resolved now.

    I have replaced head gasket
    oil
    coolant
    fuel injectors
    ignition coils
    spark plugs

seems to run fine but around 1400 to 1600 depending on the load, it kinda struggles feels sluggish sort of a pulling and letting go sensation.
Any thought's??? there are not error codes or misfires.

I checked the head and cylinders all seem normal I dont think it is a bent rod
anyone else deal with something like this before??

I was going to offer free advice on one of the many threads you are posting on and often in the middle of other's problems, but you have made it clear that free advice is only welcome from experts and then only a subset that agree with your current thinking. For anybody else, I would suggest checking all connections for full seating.

I didn't mean it like that I was looking for definitive answer.

I thought about this post for a bit, but could not imagine a circumstance in which I would be looking at the engine RPM as opposed to the power splitter, MG1 or MG2.

Well worst case scenario is taking the trimming chain cover off and confirming the trimming marks.
Now if they are correct as I think they are, can it be the cam position sensor being bad?

I have had a similar thing happen with my prius, but it has happened both pre and post HG replacement. I have no idea what rpm it's happening but it feels like a dead zone falling flat then it recovers. It only does it occasionally, but it feels strange when it happens.

You have same issue? Answer is no.
New head gasket new plugs new injectors just waiting on coil packs hope that fixis it.
