It's probably that hall sensor. It detects constant currents for drops and spikes.

    SM-N986U1 ?

Any updates, or have you had a chance to test the sensor?

Most (if tech savvy) will just temporarily allow access to the unsecure connection (website) for just the session.

I've never used the following link, but it should contain *everything* you need : Service Manuals - Google Drive

It would be great if someone could extract the manuals from Gdrive and back them up on http://mega.nz/ , just in case.

Oh...My...God... That's crazy ! All of this information is worth gold. Thank you so much for sharing.

It's still raining here. I'm also waiting for orders coming from Asia (the Techstream + Mini VCI) and USA (Battery current sensor).

I'll keep you posted when I know more, I promise.
Thank you very much for your help. :)

Guys, today is a good one.

I just replaced the Hybrid Battery Sensor (80€) with a new one and disconnect/reconnect the 12v battery after the replacement.
No more error codes, no more dashlights.

I made a Dr Prius battery check and Torque Pro check -> No errors or abnormal behavior of the battery elements or the inverter.

So I did a little 15 miles test drive. During this test, I also turned off and restarted the Prius 2 times completely to be sure that the errors did not come back. The car drove perfectly fine and the inverter was activated when needed to switch between electric mode and the petrol engine.

Sounds like this part was the culprit!

To be really sure that everything is repaired I will use the car every day for 1 week before reassembling the trim. It may be the end of a 7 months story of nightmares. And this will prove that my local Toyota dealership is more skilled at selling their cars than at repairing them.

I'll keep you posted and my fingers crossed!

This morning failure and new error code P0A94 after 1 minute of driving. The heat engine no longer stops.
It's obviously linked to the inverter, and you know what? My Toyota dealership already changed it to me last October!

I am overwhelmed. Yesterday everything was fine.

I'm waiting to receive the Techstream and Mini-VCI cable to get the exact INF code.

Does the dealership offer a warranty on their inverter? You've replaced so many parts if you lived near me I'd be putting an entirely different pack in the car to ensure you aren't forever replacing components.

But then again, maybe this is just a random glitch just to freak you and it goes away and there's actually no problem. :) I mean you've been through enough, right? Electrons are weird like that!

Yes he does. 1 year warranty.

Anyway I received the Mini VCI cable + Techstream and installed it today.
Tomorrow i'll make a complete diagnostic of my Prius to know its secrets!

    Hello guys!

Today 45km (28 miles) traveled mainly in town. No error code or indicator light.
Average consumption announced on the central screen is 7.1L / 100km (33 mpg).

During the first 20 minutes of driving, the stationary car sometimes displayed 99.9L / 100Km (2.35 mpg) with the heat engine not shutting down.
Is it because it is 7°C (44°F) outside and therefore the heat engine needs to heat up longer? Does your P2 also has this behavior?

I remember that my average consumption during last summer was someting like 4.8L/100km (49 mpg).
I attach the photos to my post.

For my next trip I will plug in Hybrid Assistant to see in detail if something is going wrong and share the report with you.

    Thanks!

Quite likely. Have you tried with the heater/defrost fan turned off?

    To keep you informed.

Everything runs fine since I replaced
    G4283-47030 Toyota Sensor Battery Current.

After 7 months and more than 5000km.

Thanks everyone for the help you gave me.

    Have a good day
