    Hey ppl,

has someone of you have seen or removed and repaired something of that?

It seems, that the servo to change to the windshield is damaged. Or just the nose is off and it wont be able to stuck where it should. I hope, someone can help me when he sees the pics.

That looks frustrating. Such a simple issue, but such difficulty of access to repair.

Yea I will try to get an access on Saturday to see, how I can get onto it. Maybe when i get out the Navigation Monitor, i can get some more access. But I am still hoping someone can give me a hint, how to get there the best way.

Unless you can improvise some way to repair that cam/follower without replacing the parts (if you do, please share!), I am afraid it will be an instrument-panel-removal story. Not the end of the world, but quite tedious.

Well, what i can see in the pics for the parts, it really could be done by removing the storage box and the navigation system. well, i hope so. if not, i will try to losen the heater box and maybe turn it some to get enough access. i hope at least.

The question I would have is why did it come apart? The servo moves the large cam (with the teeth on it). The cam has slots that move the air door levers as it rotates. There should be no way that one of those levers could "pop out". May need to loosen or remove the heater blower housing to get better access to the air cam and figure out what happened.

Well, i saw how it should look like original, and there are metal rings to keep the bolt from coming apart. I think one of these rings got damaged, flew off, what ever .... and thats how it got apart after time, i guess.
