Does anyone know the difference between the 2012 and 2013 OEM installed fog lights? I ordered a set that says it's for 2010-2012 and I have 2013, the fog lights will not power on and I can't imagine that much is different between the two.

Anyone know what I am missing here and what is different in terms of wiring/relays between 2012 and 2013?

For reference, here is my 2013, it came with the fog lights from the factory.

so with that reply, what is different in terms of wiring/relays between 2012 and 2013?

Only difference I found is that in 2012 they changed h11 to h16 bulbs, nothing else, less watts,
    H16: 19watts
    H11: 55watts

Just bulbs? Odd, When I had my bumper off and OEM fog lights plugged in, they worked. Plugged in these new foglights and no go, they didn't light up. The manufacture said they are made for 2010-2012 and I figured they would work in my 2013.

These are the fog lights that I purchased.

LEDs require proper polarity wiring. Did you have to make the connections manually to the positive/negative wires for the new foglights?

You probably have to reverse the polarity on your wiring. Do one side, then, if it works, do the other.

Edit: I watched the video on the product page. Looks like it comes with connectors already on the lights. Unplug the foglight connector, flip the connector 180 degrees, then plug it back in so that you are reversing the wire polarity to the foglights.

Yep, tried that... connected the plug both ways, and no light.
Keep in mind I modified my DRL already and familiar with wiring, even tried to run power to the yellow wire on the fog lights.

I feel like there is something I am missing that's different from 2012 to 2013. They specifically said these are only for 2010-2012, there has to be something different other than the bulb.

Applying power to the yellow wire and grounding the black wire to the chassis should light up the outer LED ring, then applying power to the red wire should light up the inner LEDs.

In the past, I've been able to test my LED foglights by holding the wires onto a fresh 9v battery.

I wonder if you wired the lights up with reverse polarity and now something inside is toasted.

So, the lights do work, I hooked them directly to a 12v power source.

There has to be a difference in a relay or something between the 2012 and 2013... will do some sluething.

I wonder if it makes a difference that I have PIP with the LED headlights...

You could use a wiring harness with a relay and take your power directly off the engine fuse box.

    They're easily sourced off eBay.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards that... I actually have 2 extra wires i ran through firewall I could use on a separate switch, was just hoping these would work off factory fog light switch on blinker knob.

Still, don't know why but when the included wires/connectors with the fog lights are plugged into the stock fog light bulb outlet, it did not work. I ended up tapping into the stock fog light wires and they worked!

These new Fog Lights are pretty cool!

Do the foglights have any kind of cutoff to limit glare to other drivers?

Can you post a picture of the cutoff pattern from the foglights only (no DRLs) against a wall from about 15 to 20 feet?

    Thanks
