How do you know the 12v battery is good? Measurements? Does the keyfob do anything to the car? What exactly happens?

Without much more detail all the internet can do for you is suggest towing it it to a dealer.

Did you get a smog cert with the car so you could legally transfer the title?

Hello all, I had the same exact issue on my 2009 Prius. Mine was parked over 2 months without starting. Followed sum of your advices on other trades I end up removing the HV battery, run same test found, cods POA7F H, battry deterioration and cod POAFA Hybrid. battery voltage low, three very low 6.4 volt cells the others were around 7 so I charged the battery and bring all the cells to 8.5 v, and the small battery12.6v. connect everything back together, but then I found out no voltage at the end of the two wires that coming out of the HV battery so I removed the orange fuse again and run some further tests, I found some burned marks by the battery control module I tried to disconnect the wiring on the module you wouldn't believe what happened the module start smoking, finally Removed the module, im still not sure wate cause the module to shorOut like that.
Will jump starting with crose wire couldcause somethinglike that?
Would any one by chance have daiagram of the rely by the module or resestinse Test presitures?
So I will need new battrey control module and wiring conecter assy from hv battery To module. And a posible relay.

Yep, most common failure of a battery pack in areas with lots of wet weather. Fortunately a wire frame no. 2 is only $50-$90 depending on what stealership you go to and a used ECU on ebay is less than $100 and you'll be good to go... I'm south of you in Olympia if you need any help. Also @fach is even closer to you and if you can source a replacement 22-pin socket he might have time to solder it to your existing ECU board so you don't have to replace it. We're planning to gather up these fried ECUs and plug solder new sockets into them, but haven't sourced the socket yet.

    Welcome to PriusChat!!
I've never used the following link, but it should contain *everything* you need : Service Manuals - Google Drive

It would be great if you could extract the manuals from Gdrive and back them up on http://mega.nz/, then post the link here afterwards.

    No.
Not sure why a seller would suggest that either.
