Wow so much activity in the last day! I've been actively looking too but it's exhausting and the numbers (even written ones) and inventory keeps changing. I'm happy to jump in on any group discounts :).

Maybe it's the end of month fever and the possibility that the $5000 rebate will be going away on 5/3, but it does seem like everyone is trying to get in on the deals. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to see if one of the dealerships wants to get in a group sale, but they would have to have a huge inventory to meet everyone's needs.

sadly they don't have the blue i'm looking for at Sheehy or Heritage. I've called about, no joke, 30 dealers in the last 3 days. Any dealer that has had what i'm looking for have already sold for the most part or was unwilling to go anywhere near 24,200 like Bill Kidds did. I'm exhasted... and don't want to piss around over saving an additional 500 at the risk of losing the car i want or the deal (5000 incentive). $26,825 was my final number before my transport cost. and maybe a potential uber driver rebate sent directly to me (it won't come but heres to hoping)

Have you tried asking them to swap cars? The blue is a very unusual color, not as common but also not as popular. You might be able to go with the pricing at a dealership you like and ask them to swap for the blue (if you haven't tried it already).

Yeah, most of the dealers I've spoken to cry butt hurt about matching any price at 24,200 for the XLE anyways. And I can only listen to so many grow ups LIE and CRY about how they aren't making any money if they do that. I get what you are saying but again for an extra 500-700 (taking it to the mid to low 23k) it just isn't worth the added hassle. I'll take my medicine at 24,200 I feel thats pretty decent for me.

I'm currently working with Bill Kidd as well, they actually have 3 more blue XLEs which seem to be hard to come by at some of the other dealerships or aren't being discounted at least. Heritage also has made me a decent offer, though a bit higher than I was originally quoted which is annoying, but they don't have any blue ones and have 9 titanium (my second choice color) so it will probably be easier to get a better deal since they have so many sitting on the lot. I'll keep everyone posted and see if we can get some type of group discount.

DARCARS seems to have a ton of inventory but I'm not seeing any discounts. I wonder what they're waiting for!

Neeshpeesh - you can get darcars, at least I was able to, match a 24,200 price. I would have gone with them over bill kidds but I got slightly better service and response at bill kidds.

Which DARCARS? There seem to be a bunch in MD. I got a quote from the one in Silver Springs and they didn't discount AT ALL. Good luck with that. No wonder they have so many in stock. A lot of folks here did well with Sheehy, but they only have a couple of XLEs in stock so I doubt the deals are there. Koons Annapolis has a TON of Primes, but they don't seem to want to get back to me.

Coleman told me to pound sand if I recall. They didn't make it past much of an initial contact for me.

No I don't think so. Based on the previous 3 years experiences, they will continue (or even add more $) until inventory depleted to a very low level. checkout cargurus.com to find out their rough inventory numbers in your region or across the nation.

I know the numbers on bill kidds looks weird...but I had darcars at the same price before all any of their fees and they came up with the exact same number, I had to check like 3 times to make sure I saw correctly. I hate the way dealers do their paper work. I guess if they are both screwing me they are at least being consistent lo

Haha, yeah I think a lot has to do with the state. I got quotes from both Bill Kidds and Heritage Toyota and they were pretty consistent as well. I was surprised to see that they quoted me a higher number than you for essentially the same vehicle.

ah then you are a few hundred cheaper than me at bill kidds then. but you have about 700 less in taxes. Check out Basil Toyota out of Lockport NY, use their E-pricing to negogiate with Bill Kidds. Basils e-price should be about 24,4xx

Did you try to ask Bill Kidds for the Uber 750? They are hard stuck on not giving that to me.

I'm not doing the Uber rebate as I'm not set up with them and won't be able to get it done in time. They seem pretty stuck in that price, even after quoting them a lower price from another dealership, they seem willing to let me walk. Crazy!

That was my experience with Bill Kidds... numerous times the salesman said "we probably will pass on that" when I brought up like the uber discount, or matching a lower price. Dealers are not losing any money with the 5000 toyota incentive, they get that back from toyota, but you'd think that we are asking them to cut off their arms because the price points that the prime is at. Its insane.
I got them to my price point, and they seemed to dig their feet in not wanting to budge like they were going to lose a meal if they went any lower.
