Best place to sell my cat?

I sold mine on eBay for $1340. But mine was in very good condition and not throwing a 420. One was sold on eBay recently for $1900.


If you have 420 the cat probably is fouled and your engine may be eating a lot of oil fouling it don’t know you never posted your mileage.

if sold on eBay and throws a 420 the customer will be very pissed. The cat can be cleaned but I don’t know how to do that. Use the search forums link up top and search.

I bought a cat off Amazon for $125 that works great no 420 and car runs better. Cost me $100 to have it all welded up.

 

Oh and a 420 won’t throw a red triangle just a solid check engine light.
So your code reader is only capable of pulling car codes not hybrid codes.
Red triangle means something fatal has occurred.

most common is a failed inverter coolant pump overheats the inverter or th3 hybrid battery has failed.

hybrid pump is make car ready open the cap to the inverter coolant tank and look inside...if the coolant is not moving the pump has failed.

failed hybrid battery is fan in backseat on full blast or car in limp mode and has no power.
