Tamas - I figured it out after about 15-20 mins! I wanted to be very gentle because we all know how easy it can be to break harness plug clips and I took note of how delicate you said the pins were and simply didn't want to be to rough with it. But, problem solved getting it off. The good news is that there wasn't anything inside to be concerned about. Troubleshooting continues! (very cold air on driver's side, barely cool air on passenger side).

Are you talking about the black (12 volt) connection at AC compressor? On the front of that connector, there’s a tab. Take something like a pen knife blade, just slightly above the base, slip tip into the gap and pry the tab towards you, while pulling on the cord. If you’ve done it right it pops out easy.
And yeah, if anyone’s done something “useful” like pressure wash the engine bay, that connector acts like a cup, fills with water.

Thanks Mendel! Yes, the 12 volt connection. It took some patience but I finally got it loose and it popped off. I appreciate the tips! I haven't owned the car very long and wasn't sure if maybe it had been pressure washed under the hood or possibly had coolant spilled in or around the area of that plug (neither apparently were the case, thankfully - the plug is a dry as can be, looks great!). Trying to troubleshoot an A/C issue and found that this connector is a good thing to inspect. Seems a fairly questionable design by Toyota if it can fill up like a cup should some type of liquid get in that area. But, even with careful engineering, nothing can be perfect Lol. :)
