Prius and Prius C Battery Modules

    Hi all, my prius c got error code P0A80 Replace Hybrid Battery Pack. I'm looking into repairing the battery and need to ask, can I use normal prius modules or do they have to be prius c?

    You can use "normal" ones, there just aren't as many in the c.

    The modules I got off eBay indicated they were also used in certain years of the Camry, Avalon, and various other Toyota/Lexus vehicles, so you are not limited to a sourcing from a Prius C.

    Ok, thanks! Do you know if a 2015 hybrid battery and a 2012 are interchangeable?

    I don't know. Obviously the modules are and the container is, but the big question is the integrated battery ECU & its wiring harness. If there's anything you'd have to swap, it would be that.
