Mine is perfect 'no codes' & improved gas mileage.
I have taken a few long trips with the new CAT also.

I’ve had mine for over a year with no issues.

Although I wouldn’t say it improved fuel economy, or anything slightly worse oddly enough. Since most people report a increase. My converter was just worn out vs clogged up due to oil consumption like some have. Mine doesn’t burn any oil (shocking to me since I’ve had other gen2). I have 228k.

After just over a year, I have no complaints. I bought the MagnaFlow 49752 aftermarket cat. I probably could have spent less, but overall I'm happy.

Had mine for quite a while and it's doing great.
No need for protection either because the bad boys know that it's not the OEM and not worth a sausage!

I bought a shield because I cannot trust that the thieves around me are smart enough to know the difference between OEM and aftermarket.

I’ve had mine in for about 300 miles or so, give or take. No problems here and fingers crossed there won’t be any issues later. The engine seems to run *much* smoother with the aftermarket cat as well.

Where did you get the shield out of curiosity? My original OEM was stolen off my '04 (nearly at 200k miles) and it was replaced with an aftermarket one. Currently I'm parking in a garage but I'll be moving this summer and that won't be possible anymore so looking to up the security
