Help P0A93 trouble

    Hey guys so my 05 gen 2 Prius at 233500 mi was reading a P0A93 error code found out it was the coolant inverter pump , replaced it with a dorman pump, code cleared ran fine for about a week now the same code tripped again after a week of being fine and running fine for overall any suggestions ?

    So, when the car is in ready mode, does coolant visibly circulate in the inverter coolant tank? When you replaced the pump, did you use the bleeder screw to help purge air from the system?

    Many on this forum have low opinions of most aftermarket inverter pumps- esp dorman. A couple of people have had cases where the dorman part would sometimes work, and sometimes didn't.

    Personally, I use the Toyota part purchased from the dealer. No problems.

    What was the INF (or Detail) code? You can find that in the freeze frame data (FFD) associated with the code.
