Well, I might as well burn an ~hour to do some due diligence...as long as I don't find more than 1 other bad cell o_O

finding the bad modules when the battery is out, is better than putting everything back in and having to do it again after a few months.

When I load test my modules, I recondition/balance them before I load test them. In your case, your results may differ greatly since all the modules are not reconditioned and balanced before your test is performed.

If they are all within the same voltage @ open current, and the ones which do not perform under CC conditions are replaced, I will happily do some strong charging/depletion circuits "off the bench".

In the coming week, after I load test the incoming cells, I will afterwards run the gamut with the charge/discharge with OBD2.

Do you feel there is a good level of value to thoroughly discharge/recharge the entire pack before installation?

How did it go with the trouble shooting process?
I've got P3020 and some power loss with higher idle RPM. I would love to know if you were able to fix the battery problem.

It went great! only replaced one module. It was a while ago so I cannot say which one but the one module was "lagging" I suppose you could say. It was not accepting a charge very well and it was not discharging very well. I identified that one, and replaced it.

The process was tedious to remove the battery and test the modules. I also got a new harness (for the voltage meters) and cleaned all the copper connectors and nuts to a shine.

Congrats! You were-are one of the few (10%? 15%?) who were successful in "just" replacing a module.

It can and does happen. Many posts on the forums are from those who tried that and failed.

    Thanks!

Yeah the only thing I think I would have done as well is to apply some sort of lacquer or spray thin dielectric grease over the connections to keep the corrosion at bay. I think the voltage meter wires being as skinny as they are with exposed copper at the ends are the most subject to fault from corrosion.
