Does Acdelco orange coolant good for prius gen3?

    I'm a little vague on what that is; judging from wikipediia it's a Corolla variant? As is the hatchback Prius, in some ways.

    Anyway, for hatchback Prius, from model year 2010 onward, in North America, the recommended is coolant is:

    Toyota Super Long Life Coolant

    Which comes pre-mixed, 50% with water

    The recommended service interval for that (after first change) is 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first.

    Peak, Prestone and most other coolant manufacturers now make a red Toyota Super Long Life Compatible Coolant. Asin, a major supplier owned by Toyota make such a coolant, too.

    Unmixed Toyota Long Life coolant is for Toyota cars older than 2004. Since then, all Toyotas use SLCC.

    I think newer Prius can use the Toyota Long Life Coolant in a pinch, it's compatible, but you should cut the change interval, say in half? Since it's full-strength, the Long Life Coolant might actually be preferable, in scenario where you've got residual water in the system?

    Yes, it's corolla in some countries, but it has same engine and hybrid system like prius. Now I'm going to change my water pump, so I have 4 l. Acdelco, manufacture sais that it goes also on hybrid cars.

    Toyota super long life in israel is too expensive = to $70, zerex is less, but its not easy to get it.
