I would think any screen cleaning wipe or micro-fiber would do the trick. Vehicle powered off of course.

Same thing you would clean your laptop screen with will work. Don’t use steel wool though. That would be bad.

Some of the prints on my screen just seem to be permanent. I've tried everything short of abrasives, and they're still there.

You aren't allowed to... You need to take it to an authorized car detailing service or dealership to have the screen cleaned for you...

I use the chamois that I dry my car with. It works great to remove all dust from the dash/doors as well.

My first-ever laptop included screen cleaning instructions, which suggested I could wipe with a soft or microfiber cloth, and if there were stubborn greasy prints, I could put a few drops of 50% isopropanol on the cloth. I got a little squeeze bottle and filled it with enough distilled water and 91% isopropanol to come to 50% and, at a few drops a go, I'm nowhere near using up that bottle yet. :)

I've got a cleaner for my glasses, made up by a local company IIRC, that (obviously) works well for glasses, but also computer monitors, cell phones. Taking a whiff, it's vaguely reminiscent of long-forgotten hospital corridors, so maybe a touch of ether? To play it safer, don't spray anything directly, just apply to a soft cloth.

That said: touch-screens are meant to be touched, right. Maybe a fools-mission, cleaning them?

I wipe mine whenever it gets to the point of being annoying, because to me, it's worthwhile to be annoyed less.
