    Key Fob Battery Replacement Question.

I got message that states I have a low battery on my key fob.

I've read that replacing the key fob battery may cause the car not to turn on after the fact.

So, before I replace the battery ... Is it just replacing the battery? Is it that simple? What else do I need to consider?

    I've already purchased the battery.

I have changed the fob battery many times with no issues. Take the mechanical key out, carefully pry open the halves and replace the battery.

Same here as what rjparker said. I've done it a few times, exactly has rjparker describes. Its very easy. The car doesn't miss a beat.

Not unless you damage something in the process.
    Just be careful.
