EV driving is cheaper these days, and there is no wear and tear on the ICE. Moreover, the EV mode is a lot more responsive with higher torque, and it's quieter. However, I have a condo, and the outlet in my garage doesn't run through my meter. I limit my usage to about one charge per week or less, and I have a plug-in meter to monitor my usage.

Oh, I see. Yeah, with not so convenient plug-in setup, I can see why you are paying the higher price of gas.

I am still getting a DTE of 729 mi with my odometer at 17,843 mi. It is not close to my all-time record of 768 mi, but that is because I have been driving faster.

DTE was 523 on my last fillup which was inline with what I had previously been getting. It’s been pouring rain rain this past tank of gas which has forced me to drive slower, so I think lower mpg from rain has been offset by higher mpg for driving slower.

DTE was 540 on my last fill-up. That was the first time I’ve seen a figure north of 530. I attribute it to the rainy weather during that tank of gas making me drive slower than normal which I guess offset the added inefficiencies of driving in wet conditions.
