    Update.
I think I found the problem. The air intake filter was clogged so I replaced it with a new one. Now the car drives much smoother without hesitation. Filter still looks new but I guess after six months it is time for a new one. thank you all for your help.

Filter cannot get clogged that badly in 6months. But whatever it was it’s good to hear car now running fine

You are correct, the problem is back although drivable. I feel like the throttle may be bad. It sounds like it does not open big enough for air to come in when I step on the gas at stops.

There is also a built in prefilter in that box too above the actual filter.

In the airflow direction that would be a "postfilter"; according to Toyota it is an activated carbon pad for absorbing vapors. It isn't replaceable (except with that whole top of the box). Being in that "postfilter" position, it isn't likely to need any attention.

I did finally figured out what the problem was. The first time I cleaned the throttle body I was being extra careful and only spray cleaner on the cloth and wiped it down. I did also sprayed on the toothbrush and carefully brushing it cleaned just as I have seen on some YouTube videos. Imo this apparently did not cleaned the throttle body well ( some got into the crevices) and caused it to open with hesitation when acceleration is applied. On the second try I covered the connector and went to town with the throttle body cleaner. Sprayed a good amount and cleaned up with a cloth. Car has been running great since. Hope that helps.
