Got the C1391 Pump constantly buzzing every 4 seconds

    I can order a new accumulator for about 250 and I got scan tool. is there a how to to bleed the air out.
    from what I have read I need to replace the accumulator and then bleed the system is this correct for C1391? and at 200k not likely covered under any recall correct?

    Correct not covered by warranty at 200k. It is my understanding it’s covered 150,000.

    You should be able to find a video on YouTube how to bleed the system or maybe somebody else can chime in.

    yes but I think 150k is correct not covered after that I believe. can anyone who has been down this road 1.confirm on the recall 2. point me in the right direction of a quality video to bleed the system?

    They fixed mine with over 250,000...... time limit runs out the first.
    Take it to the dealer....... they charge diagnostic but don't charge if correct codes thrown.
    And I'm not joking.

    Really?? what code did they pull and what did you need to say for them not to squirm out of doing it?
    Also Im afraid they wont touch my car as I upgraded to a gen 4 engine.

    Engine shouldn't matter......has nothing to do with the brakes
    They don't look...just change the 2 parts

    I did with very hard brake pedal.

    And they will tell you to bring it in.... they will not tell you anything until diagnosis.
    Get there early.......this is a 22 to 2500 dollar repair.

    You need a dealer to record the codes. Hopefully your modified 2010 can sneak in.

    If not, some with a confirmed dealer diagnosis have appealed to Toyota Corporate. Of those a handful have received help.
