The local shop has quoted me for $1200 for the struts in the front and shocks in the back.

    Is that a good price?

If not, should I install the kyb excel g struts and shocks? Can anyone tell me what parts I would need? The shocks and struts but what about the strut mount and all the other accessories. Is there a part number list anyone has for what I would need if I was to do it myself?

    thanks!

I bought the KYB loaded front struts (springs and mounts already installed) and KYB rear shocks and installed myself. You will need to remove the panel in front of the windshield to get to the top strut bolts. Took about 4 hours working methodically. A few busted knuckles but saved a lot of $$$. Have cold beer ready when you finish.

    Hi Paul,

    thank you for the response.

did you buy part number SR4246 SR4245 and 2x 349035?

I think the sr4246 and sr4245 come with the entire assembly but for the kyb excel g rear shocks it says

Additional components / dust cover / bushings may be required

did you buy any additional components for your install?

    thanks

I got my KYB stuff from 1A Auto and everything I needed was in the box. The 2 loaded front struts were ready to install, wrapped in bubble wrap, and the 2 rear shocks each had the bushings and I used the old dust covers.
