Help please I got some codes!

    Hello, I have 2005 Prius with about 138000 miles and I got the “triangle of death” along with check engine light and brake light.
    I got some codes from auto zone:
    C1256-Accumulator low pressure malfunction
    C1259-HV regen malfunction
    C1310-Malfunction in HV system

    Based on my research it has to do with the EU system maybe and the C1256 has to do with the brake system. The hybrid battery it self is factory and is acting strange like charging fast and depleting fast. Idk…. Please help lol

    You might try visiting all of the auto parts stores in the area, even within the same chain. Get all the free scans that are available and post any additional OBD2 codes (DTCs) here for additional guidance.

    It sounds like your HV battery is showing signs of potentially failing in the future, now might be a good time to consider balancing/reconditioning it by using a grid charger. DIY grid chargers start around 40, turnkey commercial products go for hundreds.
