Is anyone able to get XM channels above 234? I have the proper XM package per their customer service. I'm trying to get to channel 454 which is CNN International. Their customer service says I should be able to tune to that.

I've tried once a day the past few days to refresh my XM signal while out in an open area with clear view of the sky.

I have the base model radio and routinely listen to channels in the 300s, so it should work for you. I’ve had to reset XM in other cars and sometimes it required help from XM tech support.

I thought the upper channels were streaming only and had to be listened to through a computer connection only.

I have a Canadian subscription and while I don’t get everything on that chart in my car, my radio most certainly gets a number of channels above 223, well into the 300s, all by itself. It is a 2021 model, though. My wife’s 2017 VW GTI doesn’t have nearly as many available stations, though.

Anybody find a solution for this? I just picked up a 2022 Prius Prime XLE this weekend and I'm not able to tune anything above channel 234 either and there are some stations in the 300's I like to listen to.
My 2019 Hyundai Ioniq that I had previously had no problem tuning channels in the 300's, so it's hard to believe that a 2022 Prius Prime would not be able to. It's pretty lame if it can't (just as lame as the lack of connected services in a 2022 model that doesn't support remote lock/unlock or remote start the car, features that my Hyundai Ioniq had).

The only solution is to get a separate XM tuner that can tune into the full XM and former Sirius channels.

Toyota cheaped out and fitted these cars with XM tuners that can only tune to these lower XM channels.

Ugh, this is one of the reasons why I opted for the Hyundai Ioniq hybrid instead of another Prius 3.5 years ago. At that time, only the highest end Prius even had SiriusXM. I got a lot more options and full SiriusXM, along with fully functional remote services (lock, unlock, remote start, view vehicle status, etc.) with the Ioniq.
Unfortunatley, Hyundai discontinued their Ioniq hybrid in 2022, so Prius was the only option really left available for a plug-in hybrid.
Really disappointed that for such a techologically advanced vehicle, they seem to have cheaped out on the SiriusXM radio and remote connect capabilities.

It would appear that some of us who bought 2022 Prius Primes got short changed on electronics, including older model XM radios that only go up to channel 234. There are apparently people who bought earlier in the year that not only have fully implemented radios, but also Remote Connect services that my 2020 Prime Limited doesn't have either.

I have spent many hours with Toyota Brand Engagement that use fancy language but give no satisfaction.
