Any way to fix sun visor?

    My drivers side sun visor does not stay up all the way. Is there any way to fix this or does it have to be replaced? They are pretty pricy.

    There was a recall for those. Contact the dealer and ask them to look up the recall.

    I had the same problem with a visor in our Pathfinder. When this happens, it is very likely that the spring inside of the hinge is broken. It may be repairable, but I think you really have to open up the visor to get to the spring. It would be much easier to replace it. I got used OEM visor from eBay for a very reasonable price.

    Mine is a old gen 2. But if I push it around the opposite direction and hold it a second and back up it stays up most of the way to where it's not a problem.
