I just drove home in my 2022 Prius LE, my first Toyota after being a Subaru loyalist (even an Ambassador!) for many years. Still baffled by all the symbology and how to adjust things. Wish the dealer had been clearer about some of the settings. I can't seem to get the safety sensors to produce beeps, although I can see what's going on from the little graphic on the dash. The manual is no help, and all the videos are way out of date. Help on sensor sounds and volume anyone?

Can't help with your specific questions. My 2016 doesn't have that stuff. But, nothing says you can't go back to the dealer for more help! Though, they may not be trained up like they should. Another thought, there may be Toyota videos on that stuff. You should register your VIN at Toyota.com (MyToyota?) and maybe find some help there. Maybe you'll get some help on this site from other 2022 owners.

    Or Dr. Prius.

Familiarizing yourself with the owners manual is time well spent. Among other things, you'll find a section on customization where it tells what setting can be changed on the dash and what settings can only be done by the dealer (which is the same as saying you need an OBD II scanner and an app on your phone to change them).

I can relate to much of your frustration with the manual and the learning curve of owning and driving a Prius, since this is our first Toyota and first hybrid, plus first new vehicle since 2008! The manual is the most poorly written manual in that it is not intuitive at all.
I’m not sure which systems you are referring to exactly but here goes.
On page 693 under Intuitive Parking Assist (which is described on page 358 and following) it shows that the volume for the sensors associated with that system (which are used for Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (pages 349 & 352)) can be adjusted by the dealer (you can buy a device that might allow you to adjust some of the dealer only settings but that’s another learning curve!). The volume for those is factory set at level 3 (middle range) and should be on.
Page 686 takes you through the steps for making adjustments to the various settings. It refers to the “multi-informational display” which is the one at the top of the dashboard where the speedometer is. You can scroll through that display with the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel.
I know the manual is a pain but it is well worth plowing through it. I found that starting with one subject in it and bouncing to the different pages it refers to helped.
One other thing, if you put the car in reverse the sensor display will turn on but if you aren’t close enough to any object be of concern, there will be no beep or buzzer. Additionally, the car has to be on to access and adjust the various systems AND in park.
