Has anyone ever had this happen to them?.. your driving along just fine then all of a sudden lights on he dashboard come on.. the brake indicator light, vsc, red triangle everything.. then the car shuts off and you come to a stop.. and then you try to diagnose it yourself you look for anything basic like the low oil fluid levels or and other fluid levels.. you check serpentine belt and other stuff but you cant figure out what the problem is.. and then you get out your scan tool then you scan it but you dont receive any codes.. then the only thing left is to put more fuel in it and when you do.. the car starts up just fine.. and so you assume its fuel and so you take it to the gas station but the car only takes like 5$ worth of gas.. and it doesnt make sense and your left confused and scared? and now you dont know what to do and dont understand what just happened?

This is a wild guess, have you check voltage of your 12V?
Do a load test and see if any good..
Auto parts store usually will check it for you free of charge along with code reading...

Yes, low gas in tank, it happened a decade or more ago on the first road trip. We were low on gas and were going up a long hill, and right as we are cresting the hill the dashboard goes nuts, all lights on. I pulled off to a rest stop, I can't remember if the engine died but I think it did. We sat there reading the owners manual and of course it said "STOP take to dealer immediately". It was clear to me we were low on gas and there was a station at the bottom of the hill, so I was able to drive the car down the hill, filled it up, and all was "fixed." Yours may have only taken 5 gallons due to something weird with the tank bladder, but I assume it should fill correctly eventually.
