Also, I have an IPhone, just reread the thread and I noticed it said Torque Pro App for Android, so maybe that is why I don’t seem to find a Torque Pro App.

I have an iPhone and got the basic code with the Dr. Prius app. I wanted to go deeper and just bought the Torque Pro ap and put it on a friend’s android phone and it didn’t detect anything.

If you want a phone app rather than a laptop solution review this thread: Gen2 OBD2 app review | Post #8.

If a laptop solution is in your tolerance get Techstream and a compatible J2534 vehicle interface cable, the best is the Toyota-endorsed Drew Technologies one. The cheapest is any one of the myriads of Mini-VCI cables on e-commerce sites.

How has that reader the Dr Prius site recommended worked out for you?

Dr Prius is handy for monitoring HV battery block voltages, but otherwise is very limited.

Here's a thread that reviews several scantool apps and devices, some are "all system" capable. For general diagnostics, the Autel AP200 is a good option.
