first post here and I do not own a Prius but an Auris HSD, year 2011, so 3rd generation hybrid system which is the same as on Prius 3rd generation.
I have just bought the car and have a plan to clean EGR system, but first I would need a little quidance if this tiny oil seepage is a known fault on this engine. I have a small oil seepage on the right side of the engine. As far as I was able to check it comes from a timing chain cover. Is it very difficult to replace onyl this gasket? I hope it is not an engine out job...
Here are also a few photos of the seepage:

The "Prius C" forum on here is the same vehicle as the Auris in Europe.

Yes, it's a known problem that is not going to become an issue... Of course the Toyota Stealerships love this particular problem because they can charge a fortune to fix it even though it doesn't really need to be fixed.

The general recommendation on here for this one is to make sure all the bolts you can access are tight enough and regularly clean your engine so you can monitor how severe the leak is getting and no need to do anything until it gets really bad.

Perfect, thank you for explanation. I though so, because the seepage is really small, so I will just retighten the bolts and keep an eye on it.
Do you maybe know the torque specs for the bolts?
I have still the older generation of Auris E15 that was produced in hybrid variant from 2009-2012 ;).
