When I called all the Toyota Stealerships in PNW a couple months ago they showed only 5 remaining OEM packs in Toyota warehouses in the US and most of the parts department either had one on the shelf at a massively high rip off price or they were back-ordered and you could be on a waiting list. Add to that the fact that dealerships are interested in shipping you a battery pack when they got customers waiting for them.

Toyota could care less about backorders... There's people in California who wait months for a catalytic converter when there's gets stolen and with the price of Nickel being gamed on the stock market and https://projectlithium.com/?ref=9qLPw out of stock till end of the year it may well soon be that supply chain issues are going to continue to be awful for a long time and a reconditioned pack is going to be your only option.

So if I feel I'm going to get stuck like that. I just called my buddy at the hybrid doctor in Virginia and buy one of his racks of sales balance to three Delta. And get what I can out of that for the 599 or 699 till whatever I want comes in stock or whatever happens in the meantime at least I'm not out of my vehicle and the $600 is relatively cheap heck it might last 5 years not going to worry about it just keep driving I think Hendrick here in North Carolina has a couple I know where there's a brand new battery pack sitting in an '08 that may be gone by now the dude who own the car was not very bright I could have bought the rest of the whole car for $500 I didn't have time to fool with it.
