I’ve bought a Japanese Toyota Aqua (Prius c). It’s missing cruise control and I bought a kit with the stalk and extra wires for ground and the ECU. Opened up the steering wheel and screwed in place the stalk, but from there I have the following problems
    1. There is no third socket to plug in the switch at the top of the steering wheel (photo attached)
    2. Online I can find info only for the older model which I learned it’s a bit different from the newer. Can anyone give me specific positions to add the wires in the ECU and the plug below the steering wheel (assuming I can find a way to solve problem no.1) 7B490140-0C22-4CB9-9EA0-FE4EFC82A9E3.jpeg 9FDB84E0-4100-41CB-83EE-382646D742FF.jpeg

Hey Mate I'm in the same boat as you, just purchased a month ago, i bought the full kit off of Aliexpress, you will need to order and install the Clockspring, that has the extra connector, and the wires to be added to the ECU.

I have just installed the kit from as many web pages and dodgy youtube videos as I could find, I installed the 2 wires included, one goes to ground and the other is installed on pin 28 of the second connector from the top of the ECU.

BUT cruise control does not work, the CC light does turn on in the dash, in a green colour, but within 1 second turns orange and never lets you set a speed.

From what I can work out I also need to change the brake switch and/or install extra wiring from the brake switch to the ECU. the most promising guide I found so far is from a japanese blog detailing how to set it up on an older model Aqua(pre 2016- the version that uses pin 22 of the top connector for CC). So now I'm working with Google translate and trying to see the differences in pinouts etc.

The America Prius C doesn't need this extra work and will just work witht he aliexpress kit as far as i can make out.. Sorry I can't be any more helpful but I am working on it, I will not stop until i have cruise control.

Mirza, AWESOME, I had given up hope of getting this to work.

Can you just tell me where the brake wire comes from? Is that from the brake pedal switch? Which wire?

Thank you so much for your help my friend

Hi mate, did you get this solved? Trying to fit CC to a 2017 JDM aqua, I'm looking around for a clockspring but can't find the version with only one airbag connector wire. Where did you get yours?
